  • Information about, and referrals to community resources: recreational, employment, childcare, social services, etc. Food Stamp and re-certification applications, TANF applications, Oregon Health Plan applications and Employment Related Day Care applications.

  • Applications for subsidized housing and list of low-income housing available.
  • Donated Items and Funds

  • Donated funds for one-time purchases of emergency medications, etc. (as funds are available).
  • Personal hygiene items are available as supplies last on an emergency basis.
  • Clothes Closet

  • A limited supply of clothing available.

  • Fred Meyer donates bread and pastry items to TTFRC each week.
  • Local food bank information available.
  • Holiday Assistance

  • Applications for holiday baskets available at TTFRC.
  • TTFRC coordinates the distribution of holiday gifts and food to needy families.

Parenting

  • Parent Skills Training***

  • Parenting classes using the Incredible Years curriculum held at Tigard-Tualatin schools and/or community locations.
  • Individual seminars on topics of interest for parents are also offered.

Employment Resources

  • Internet and phone access for immediate job referrals. Fax and copy machine.

Education

  • English Classes***

  • For adults on-site and referrals for classes held at Tigard Senior Center and churches.
  • School Supplies***

  • Assistance in accessing donated school supplies.

Health and Mentoring

  • Medical Teams International Dental Vans
  • Free emergency dental care for uninsured children in the Tigard-Tualatin School District.
  • Information available on mentorship opportunities.
